How to be Equipoised
One of the main essence of Bhagavad Gita is, I am trying to implement in my life to be equipoised. It is not easy but slow practice is bringing effects. Lord Krishna says in Gita “practice will support to achieve it ” but
What exactly it means to be equipoised?
It simply means as per Bhagavad gita, the great British saying “Keep Calm and Carry On”. Definitely that is initial phase of understanding it, but when you go deeper into meaning, it signifies the importance of keep yourself neutral, regardless of happy sorrowful time. It has lots of underlying meaning which, I will explain more in next blog.
But why?
what is the big deal in keeping ourselves balanced mind, what it unlocks? Keeping mind balanced no doubt builds focus and enable us to see the bigger picture, it doesn’t distorts picture of situation by emotions/anger. This is how you get the key of your life. If this is not the case, then we simply get tossed by waves of ocean and we have no control.
But How?
Shri Prabhupad’s Gita has made it easy all around, simply build Krishna consciousness no need to do tough methods of so many Yogas like hatha yoga, ashtanga yoga, dry mental speculations to restrain from sense gratification as it comes with a lot of ground work but a devotee of the Lord automatically refrains, find it so easy because of superior taste of being in Krishna consciousness. In the next blog, I will elaborate more on Krishna consciousness to make the full sense of higher taste of life.
